can I???

Depends on the mantis species, size, and personality, and also depends on the fishes size, eating habits (I wouldn't put one in with known invert munchers like puffers) and personalities. What fish are in the tank and what size is it?

Dan

tanks 150g
fish
V tail grouper
shy hamlet
niger trigger
banana eel
tigger eel
orange gulf toadfish
spanish hogfish
and 2 yellow damsels :D

here in Florida are many off mantis shrimp most are light yellow ,green and some white wish stripes like a tiger the one I always see are small size.........I like to have 2 or 3 if is possible..............

I personally would not put one in there with all those fish, it'll prolly end up being a late night snack for the grouper or toadfish. Again though it depends on the size of the fish and the mantis, but Personally I would advise against it.

do it if you want, i dont see the point really. chances are teh mantids you'll find will be small and end up as food. or if you go get a big one, then your fish migh be in danger.

There are a lot of fish in there that may make a meal out of it. If you did add one I doubt you would ever see it and if you did, it probably wouldn't last long.

Also its one mantis to a tank because they are VERY territoral, and in a tank there is no place for one to flee away to.

okok I will make a mantis tank....I really like this little guys i will get a nano for a mantis :D

thanks a lot for u help guys
