Hello I want to get some more color swiming in the reef.
I have a 150 gal filled with tangs, wrasses and clowns. If i put 5 Kupang Damsels in will they upset the other fish?

Thank you,
Sean

I recently added 3 to my 150. No issues, even with the smallest of flasher wrasses. Of course, time will tell, but I've heard good things about this species. And the color is amazing.

had mine for a few years.... like most damels they pick alittle area to defend and don't stray to far away ignoring larger fish, but will chase off smaller ones...I find them them to be less aggressive than most damsels.

I added 6 Kupangs to my 190G a couple of weeks ago. I have mostly docile fish - 5 Carberryi Anthias, 6 dispars, 2 Sunburst, 1 Melanarus wrass, 2 red spot cardinals (I want some more), 2 Oc Clowns, 2 Bangaiis, 1 purple firefish, 4 Small Royal Grammas, and 1 Yellow Assessor. Presently devoid of any large fish. They do add a pleasant splash of color.

I know it is too early to tell, but the only very minor aggression that I've seen was aimed at the damsels from the wrass and the firefish. They pick at each other on occasion, but I expected that. All in all, I'm very happy with them thus far.
