Can mushrooms get ich?

I had a hippo with ich, and I just noticed that my mushrooms have some white specks on them. Can they get ich too? how do I treat it??

i would think that they cant get it . they could carry it though .

No! Could it be sand?

No, I thought the same thing, it's not sand though. Whatever it is, it is embedded into the mushrooms.
The only reason ich came to mind is that around the same time that I discovered them, I was treating my hippo for ich... coincidence I guess.

Those could be the natural coloration of those shrooms as they mature. Ihave some red shrooms with green specs and blue specs . Yours might color up more as they get older.
