Can my anemone damage my SPS?

I'm curious about what damage my Anemone can do to my various SPS corals. My anemone is rooted behind some rocks and will pop out of various cracks and as my SPS are growing they are coming close to one another. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have had my anemone brush against several of my SPS corals with no ill affects. Thats not to say it can't do harm, just in my expierence it has not.

What kind of anenome? I had a BTA that would come close to my SPS but wouldn't sting them, but they definitely can.

If you have a carpet(as i do) it will sting the living heck out of your sps in my opinion. what kind of anemone? i do have a BTA as well he doesnt seem to sting much at all but thats just my experience. I think the best route is to make sure that SPS have their room from anemones for growth.

i know my purple carpet mowes over my sps. i've lost 2 smaller colonies due to my purple. only thing is, my wife loves the anem so it has to stay.
