Can my ricordea touch my Xenia?

The best place for my new ricordea is a niche in a rock where Xenia sway and can touch it. Is it bad for either one for these two too touch?

Also, since I just bought some ricrodeas (lime and purple w/green), I would like to know if they require low flow and lower placement.

Thanks! :)

It should be fine. I have Xenia touching my Bubble Coral and it's doing fine. Plerogyra are some of the more potent corals, too. I would be more worried about the Xenia than the Ricordea.

The main defense of Xenia is going to be allelopathic (chemical) making placement irrelative. I wouldn't worry about contact between the two (or the allelopathic potential either for that matter). Basically, no worries. :)

The Ricordea will be fine in low current, but I would keep it at least in the mid-portion of your tank for lighting concerns.
