I had problems with my ph previously due to a bad probe. After figuring it out I found my ph swing would go from 7.6-8.0. I believe this cause some of my sps to bleach from the bottom which I believe they call rtn or stn
I've fragged some and even on a new plug they start bleach from the bottom slowly, polyp extension is minimal, and color is also somewhat gone. Also I want to add that I recently experimented with kalk and it seems like some of the slur got in the tank some sps turned white but they are slowly getting their color back.
With the bleaching of the coral from the bottom and kalk issue can my sps still recover or will the corals eventually die ? Will they recover? how long do they take, assuming all parms are on point.
