I use 2 X 36W 6500K economy bulbs to grow chaeto. I dose chaleated iron (Kent marine) and iodine (Salifert) once a week. Water flow needs to be fairly fast in your sump.

Has anyone ever used a DIY led light for their fuge? I'm thinking about trying to build a small light from rapid led to grow the chaeto
