... Man made ciment that has been cured as part of your live rock?

Used aragonite sand (2 parts) with aragonite pebbles (2 parts) and type I white ciment mix (1.25 parts). I cured them for 2 and a half months.

Thanks,

The term "Live" refers to the living micro organisms and bacteria that have made a home on it. So I would say yes.

well no not really because DIY cement rock is typically not very porous so it will not have the same ability to grow anaerobic bacteria as natural reef rock. if you have a very small amount of natural rock in your tank, you may want to consider using some type of biological media (ceramic rings, etc) in your sump.

I have 130lbs in the DT and about 10lbs in the sump. The total extra weight from ciment is about 70lbs, and on those slabs there's also some rocks.

So I think I should be ok, thanks guys!
