If you have zero nitrates you probably arent cycled at all :/
Unless you have a metric buttton of anaerobic bacteria you should be showing at least 5ppm nitrates.
Toss a raw shrimp in there or dose ammonia and test the next day. Your tank should at minimum be able to process 1ppm ammonia into 0 within 24 hours easily.. then you get a nitrite spike.. then comes the nitrates
Yes it's cycled im pretty sure about it might be because i did another water change this morning because it had alot of surtace scum for some reason and i cleaned out the filter pad just going to check again right now.
Opps its says 6 ppm i guess i might have picked up another bottle im sorta blind without my glasses on but is that ok even when i dont have anything in there?
Yea thats fine. Go ahead and start picking out your clean uo crew and slowly adding them. Id still get a small hunk of cured live rock just to help you get along a little quicker as well but its up to you
I will buy at least 2 pounds of live rock its just that all lfs are about a hour and ahalf from where i live and it will have to wait until i buy the clean up crew
I just ordered a Evergrow D120 fro. Ebay for less than $100 for mine. Should be here in a couple of days. As far as what ive seen on our size tanks it will geow anything
I'd recommend one of those T5 Lights from Odyssea. I had a T5 36W 1 10,000k and 1 Actinic Blue Bulb and it was great, but of course that was because I was on a tight budget. If I wasn't, I would go with some Radion Nano Lights.
Ive heard the Odyssea lights have a habit of starting fires/shorting out. I was going to go with one of those till I saw the reviews. Id rather be safe than sorry. Lights will of course also depend on what you ultimately want to keep as well
I have 2 odyssea lights, I've had them for about 6 months and the other 2 years, and they are still amazing, love them, but of course there is always mixed reviews.

So my clean up crew finally arrived thanks manca for making me wait longer, but everything came ok and started working almost an hour after putting them in the tank
