I have been keeping a green favia for about 8-10 months now and it has been doing very well, more than doubled in size. In the past month or so I have noticed it receding quite rapidly from the bottom. A white what I can only refer to as slime where the region is impacted. The entire coral has not been feeding like it should be and polyp extension is very minimal.
No other corals in my tank are effected however it is my only favia currently.
I have dipped it with Coral RX about 2 weeks ago which did seem to make things better for a short while however it's now just as bad. I attempted to dip it again and notice 20 or so white bugs. I can't determine if they are just harmless copepods or if I should be concerned.
Can anyone ID these?
