Can someone please ID this snail for me

I have had this snail for 2 years. I bought it because I was told it was a nasarius. But I did a transfer from my 100 to a 180 about 4 months ago and needed snails. So I bought a bunch of turbos from the reefgardner and when I let them out of the bag onto the sand my nasarius (?) came out of the sand and was crawling on them. To my surprise and shock it sucked the snails right out of the shells. I only had 3 snails survive this. I am getting rid of it because the reefgardner told me it was def not a nasarius but I would like to know what it is. Thanks for any help!

It looks like a Babylonia valentiana, also referred to as a one of many Babylonia Whelks. I don't know much about them but I have read that the valentiana are a predator.
If indeed that is even what it is, I am by no means a snail expert.

It's a Babylonia species for sure. They are closely related to the whelks, and were only recently separated from the Buccinidae. They eat other snails.

I think this one is Babylonia spirata, one of the more common species in the family.
