Can someone tell me what is wrong with my leather

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me ID what these holes are, these photos were taken this am when the lights just came up.

My Devil's Hand will get holes like that where debris settles. When I blow it off with turkey baster I notice the hole(s). Also could be small predatory snails eating it away.

my toadstool got holes like that once….they eventually got big enough that the coral divided into several pieces…not sure why or how it happened…i too notice if anything settles on my devils hand it will get what appear to be burn holes in it.

I've noticed that on my leathers and toadstools when detritus sits in an area, or when my toadstools start to fall apart because of their size just keep them free of debris but mine have done this and i just end up with a ton of "babies" so to speak

some do this to drop babies but this is usually at the edges. I would say it is getting nipped by something or detritus is settling in those spots. adding more or adjusting flow should be an easy fix if it is detritus.
