Can tangs get sick from shipping?

If i were to buy a kole tang online from Live Aquaria and have it shipped, would it come down with ich? I always hear people say that theyre prone to ich even after doing hypo, so im not sure what to expect from shipment. Im wondering if the stress alone will be enough to lower its immune system and allow ich to take hold of it

Ich is a parasite. It's not magic.

If the water or fish has it, the it can develop further from stress. But it can't magically appear if the fish/water didn't have it previously.
