Can these frags be saved?

I was sent a pack of monti frags by a former RC member, but because of a scheduling mixup, I wasn't able to pick them up from the post office until today. The frags have spent at least 36 hours in the dark and without heat.

Since I had to go straight back to work from the P.O., I won't be able to start acclimating them until tonight. Are these poor things done for, or is there any hope for them?

This is going to sound dumb, but how can you tell the difference between a doomed SPS and one that's just seriously p!ssed off?

I also agree they will be fine, IF you wanted you could take them out and while you at work (if possable) just put them under a light so they wont be in total darkness.

Thanks, everybody.

I think they'll pull through. The Tyree flower-petal cap, setosa, and rainbow look OK--not the best color, but some color and polyps showing. The worst-looking of the bunch is the blue-polyped cap, but even that was showing a couple of polyps last night. I'll just let them acclimate on the bottom of the tank and move them up in a few days.

This is just one of the reasons why montis are my absolute favoritest coral ever--they can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. :p
