I was wondering if star fish could eat Sps.

I have two Sand Shifting Star Fish Thay had babies They are all over my sps can that hurt them

Shouldn't eat them. Could potentially crawl over stuff but they usually stick to the sand.

I bet the "baby" starfish you are seeing are actually asterina starfish and not baby sandsifting stars. Look up asterina starfish and you will see a pic. They usually have one or two legs that are shorter than the others.

if you are seeing "asterina" starfish on your SPS, they could in fact be the coral eating variety. They are rare, but they exist. NaH20freak's description was on.
