Can u house more than on mantis per tank

What size tank? from what I hear, not for an extended period of time. It is usually best to keep them seperated until mating time if that is what your planning. also what species? try gonodactylus, he had the answers I needed re: mantis.

I have three large mantis, about 3", from TBS rock in a 10 gallon tank. They have only been in there about three weeks, but seem to be getting along all right. At least I haven't seen any corpses yet.

I made sure they each had their own "Cave" , 1/2 " PVC tube, and plenty of food.

There are several crabs in the tank also. The crabs are very skittish, but haven't been damaged yet.

A little over a year ago I put three mantids (neogonodactylus wennerae?) I removed from Florida live rock, in a 30g tank together, over a period of about four weeks. The largest was added first, and one almost as large second, and a small one third. The first one killed the second one within a few weeks. The small one has done fine, and is now full grown (same size as the largest). They seem to get along quite well - I often find them poking out of each other's "holes" on a daily basis.
