Also, what product am I supposed to use for copper treatment?
I have what looks like missing scales/discoloration (fading) spots along the lateral line of one of my male Watanabeis. Five spots on one side, and about 3 on the other.
A female has one spot that looks like a scale that has a piece of saran wrap on top of it. (when you tear the saran wrap, the edges and how it folds up slightly) This spot is toward the tail on one side. This female is also eating very little, often passing up many pieces before eating small bits.
The gills on this female are also flared. I got the them about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
I was thinking about a formalin mixed with freshwater dip to see what falls off. Also, copper was suggested as the treatment route.
They are 90 QT w/PVC and skimmer. The temp is about 73F.
