Green hairy dots on the rock...under blue led's they turn bright green...any idea? I tried to scrape one of them today and found that its hard and it had some kind of polyps that retracted immediately when I touched it with the tweezers.

Hard to tell from pics, but could be a coral, like Pocillopora, that was already in/on that rock.

Majanos are soft, and would probably retract into a hole/crevice if you were 'prodding' it

Could it be a baby fungia...someone commented on other forums. Found a picture of baby fungia online and seems like what I have.

Here is a closer picture"¦after scraping it off the rock"¦i noticed that it was hard and the bottom was little slimy. It had tentacles too. Any idea?
