My friend who has a 45 nano custom set up reef tank, gave me this substance thats supposed to turn my crushed coral into "live sand", anyways its a pink powder with little white worm looking things. i would just like to know what it is.
It sounds like Reef Bugs. BUT, Reef bugs is supposed to be coral food. Either way, I don't think you can turn CC into LS. If you want LS you are going to need to use actual sand and seed with some Live from another reefers tank.
