Can you identify this??

I see this growing in parts in my tank, looks like a cotton type fuzzy white thing spreading... any idea???

You can see the white stuff near corals on rocks and sand..

I dont know if it will kill corals or spread like wildfire in my tank!!!

Sponges. If you don't want them there, just use an old toothbrush and scrub them off the rock. There are some types of sponges that are very fast growers and can smother smaller corals, like zoas and GSP. Just keep an eye on it's growth rate. If it seems like it's getting invasive, time for removal.
