Grr... Heres the deal they look totally different... Yes I know one is nekkid and the other isn't but they mouth structures are very different... Heres my concern. I have had a false per for like 2 or 3 years and he or she had a partner, but the partner died like 2 months or so ago.... So i decided I would add the naked clown from ORA to the mix so i could have both "versions". Well the Long time perc has been chasing the naked clown around since I put it in. Im kinda concerned for his safety.... Thoughts?

they willl be fine, they just figuring out who will be female, don't worry about it, It should last, the most a few days, then it won't be as rought

The mouth structure difference is often due to OVERBREEDING, its fairly common, and upturned mouths don't inhibit ur clown from feeding. My False Perc has an upturned mouth, and my Black Perc doesn't.

i work in fishshope and we have gottne nakeds befour but ours had no part of a stripe on them. from what i hear ora dose somting to them to get them like that. i have one of there black mis bar oce and i like it a lot

I've always heard that it was rarity... One of those things that happens.. But who knows.. I would hate to think that they would do anything neagtive to the fish to make them that way.

ORA would Not dose anything harmful or negative to the fish to get them to grow without bars. They just wouldn't do it. Afaik The naked clowns are just severly mis-barred. I believe it is just one of the younger less strong clowns of the batch that don't get nearly enough food as a juvi before meta. I could be wrong and oama may correct me on this, but thats what i have read and heard.

Just out of Curiosity.... Would it be possible to have two pairs of clowns in either a 46 or a 90?

Possibly a 90, most likely no. I wouldn't chance it, i would predict 2 dead clowns.

Gotcha... Ill pass I think... I dont wanna risk it... Im hoping the naked clown and the Perc will settle in with each other.. I think they make an interesting contrast Its day two and one is chillin on one side and the other is on her side... I hope they learn to play nice.

The Naked Clowns were produced through selective breeding. Pure and simple. No "Dosing", "Inducing" or chemicals were ever used or even considered.

i think you are mistaken, you have a goldfish and not a clown thats probably what the fighting is all about:lol:
