can you keep sehorses with this coral?

i am planning for my future reef tank and i was planning to get a nps tank with seahorses. but i am worried that the seahorse is going to damage the gorgonian tissue. or that the gorgonian is not going to open because of the seahorse being on it. does anybody have here has a seahorse with a non photosyntetic gorgonian

It seems to be hit and miss with the gorgs with some having little problems and others reported die off due to seahorse hitching.
I had brown sea rod, a gorg looking coral, and it couldn't take the cooler temperatures recommended for keeping seahorses in a tank.
