Can you put the wavebox in a bowfront?

I would like this to go in either a 130 or 170 gallon bowfront glass aquarium. Is this safe?
Or better yet, which shapes are not safe?

I am not a big fan of the wavebox on bow fronts. The wavebox stresses the seams and the seams on a bow front already seem more failure prone.
