what size tank do these guys need and how big do they get?

That is nothing more than a goldentail moray which is mostly yellow. Scientific name is Gymnothorax miliaris and grows to about 27"

A 125 would be plenty for the Goldentail.

dont think they get 27 inches, i seen a 3 year old at only 14 inches...

Research Gymnothorax miliaris and you will see they grow to 27".

Considering that some species can live 25 - 30 years, then it wouldnt be uncommon for the one you saw to be only 14".

It took almost 11 years for my HDME to reach her full length of 32".

a 55 gallon would be suitable for onl one eel and no other fish

species i was showing was a dwarf eel, Im no expert but i think they are a different species. As my friends canary looks nothing like a goldentail which we have at our club

No the species you were showing is exactally what I said it was... Can you read your own post?

Besides dwarf yellow morays have blue eyes.

Please do research and read a little before you post any more.
