Cancun/Cozumel SCUBA Dive

I just got back from an 11 days trip to Cancun and Cozumel and thought I would share some pictures of my dives I did. As you can see some of the coral on the reef are not doing well. Actually they are receding at a very fast rate. For instance the huge brain coral was actually entirely alive just three years ago. Now it is close to half dead.

BAD BAD Flamingo Snail. Seen about three of these guys mowing down on gorgos.


This was alive at one time as it has just started to regrow on the other side.

Yeah I just returned from cancun too. I saw a lot of sea fans and some receding coral... Very sad... First time see coral in the wild and the whole time I'm thinking I would like a frag of that.
