I am looking at a candelabra gorgonian but need a few questions answered. First and formost is it photo-synthetic? Any pointers or tips for this gorgonian? If it is not photo-synthetic what is a photo-synthetic gorgonian that is easy to care for. I have dual 250 watt metal halides over a 90 gallon if it helps. The bulbs are 14K XM's.

So candelabra is a name given to a wide array but not specific name of a gorgonian. It is purple in color with lighter purple polyps so I am guessing it is not pgot-syhtetic from what I am reading

Coloration alone will not tell you whether it is photosynthetic. There are purple gorgonians that are photosynthetic. True, the non-photo ones tend to have more color, but that doesn't mean there aren't any colorful photosynthetic ones. Also, there are many gorgonians that could fit the description of "candelabra" shaped. If I could get a picture, or if you could do an image search and find one that looks similar, I could probably tell you.
