Candy Basslet tankmate question

Looking for a little advice. I have a 75 with 3 small flasher wrasses, a small photon clown and a candy basslet. I am wanting to add a blenny, either a midas or a tail spot. That said, I don't want to add anything that is going to cause conflict with the candy basslet. I have zero problems now, so maybe I shouldn't rock the boat??? Any stocking suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had the candy and tail spot, I don't believe the tail spot will cause you any problems. I don't have experience with the midas.

I have both a Tail-spot and Midas and they're both model citizens. I have a Swales Basslet (poor man's Candy Basslet) in a Seahorse tank filled with other small fish. It killed a Pink-streaked Wrasse less than half its size, but does fine with all the other small fish. I think the aggression was because they basically take up the same niche in the tank.

I think you'll be fine. Blennies are very personable fish.

I think either would be fine but thinking of the swimming patterns of each of these you might have more of aggression from the Candy towards the tailspot.

The tailspot likes to perch more; hence more in the rocks where the candy hangs out.

Where as the midas blenny is more of an open water swimmer.

Just thoughts but as others have said you shouldn't have a problem with either one.
