Candy cane coral with clear white filament?

I got four polyps of some candy cane last weekend and they are doing great, but they produce this clear, bubbly slime between the polyps and at the base of them as well. is this normal?

Water params are well within range of what they should be

Based off what you are explaining, if there are other corals near it some corals will produce a slime to protect thereselves from the enemy. But a picture would help us out alot.

Hmmph. Never seen anything like that. Not sure what it is. But if it makes you feel better, that coral looks pretty healthy!

He is happy as can be! i fed my acan a few minutes ago and it immediately put it's feeder tentacles out so i had to feed it too... I just worried that this could be the beginning of brown jelly. I had a LPS tank a few years ago and never ran across the infection so im being pretty cautious.
