Candy cane help

Any advice on what could be going on with mu cany canes, they look like
they are withering away. Approx 10 heads all look the same, they have been great, fully opening, they have spread from 2 heads to 10, water is fine I have shrooms, xenia and a sebae anem. that are doing great. The only thing different that has happened lately is a small perc clown is starting to take to them. Any insight?

If the clown is messing with them, there is your answer. Only other thought is are you feeding them regularly and what is your calcium measuring?

Have you tried moving the candy canes higher in the tank. If in fact the clown is trying to mess with it, they might not follow it to the higher place.
I have a pretty good size cane and for the most part, the clowns stay out of it. They host the frogspawn and the colt corals.

agreed with clown theory

sometimes mine shrivel up while they're splitting, but since youve seen yours split before that's probably not the case
