Candy Corals..."melting"?

Now, I have even tried vith Altavista....and I still dont
find any pics...Please.. Anyone?

How could a Candy Cane look like when caught with Brown Jelly Disease?

Ive never seen a Caulastrea with a brown jelly infection, I guess its possible. Usually the tissue just self destructs into a ball of brown stringy goo. Here is a pic from eric bornemans site of a Torch coral with the infection- gives you a good diea of what a Caulastrea might do I suppose

Since mine haven´t shown any sign of brown goo, I guess Brown Jelly isnt the case then....(If Candy Canes dont show it in a different way that is?)

The Brown Jelly Disease kill the coral quite rapidly also if I have understand it correctly...and mine have been like this for over a week now.

I also exclude light issues since all other corals seems to do fine.

Something that I have noticed though, is that ALL my Candy Canes dont estract as much as they used to, the colour is darker and I dont see as many of their nightly feeding tentacles as used to do...

Hormigaquatica, You are quite right!
If I had one I would have posted one, like I stated in my first post ;)... But I will borrow/ or buy one and post a pic asap.
