My LFS sold these as "True Blue Candy Canes"

No clue what they actually are:

Pics are under 6 Bulb Tek Fixture

I've only had it in the tank for 2 days. I checked late last night to see if it was extending its feeder tentacles. I didn't see any extension though.

Do they extend on their own or do I have to stimulate them, or do I just need to wait a while for the coral to adjust to my tank? I checked last night 3 hours after lights out.

I just ran a filter on them in photoshop to see the color under normal lights, they look just like the standard red with green centers..? Anyways nice size :) Also they will adjust, at night when the lights go out, they should extend their feeders.

Just curious....how long have you guys had your candy canes and how much have they grown? (how many heads)

Here are my growth shots over a 7-8 month period.

Yeah I think mine are the regular Red/Green ones.

I bought that entire colony for $38. So I think I got a good deal. One of the heads has a baby on it as well, might be able to see a little bit of it in my picture.

I had some Tentacle response last night. I squirted a little Mysis juice on them 30 minutes before lights out. They had the feeders out a little bit when I came down an hour later.

I've got frozen Marine Plankton and Mysis to feed them, is that sufficient?

That's a pretty hard pill to swallow coming from a graphix designer! :D I think he just wants to see how many heads he can mess with

Exactly! Those are not real. It was a quick 5 minute Photoshop job.

Just reminding everyone to not believe everything you see.

I have to admit Jason, I had to do some research first before I was brazen enough to post that...on you!

Awesome video by the way, not sure what impressed me more the 4 way(which was nicely plumbed btw) or the music! I love that song!!
