I am still struggling to keep alk and calcium up in my tank with a combination of kalkwasser and manual dosing. I have still been dosing very slowly and my sand has started to harden. Beacause of this, I am reluctant to bump up the dosing which is contributing around 1.2 dkh/day. My alk tests around 6.8 dkh at the end of each day with calcium around 400. There is still no sign of precipitation on my powerheads and very very little on my heaters. My softies are doing great but the lps are not growing at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
