Absolutely.

I use LR for 90% of my post processing. It makes shooting RAW 100% pain free.

I agree lightroom rocks for basic editing. Most of what you need you can do easily right there. Photoshop is more powerful, but a lot more work for the same result, bridge helps but lightroom is my preference.

My school has photoshop cs3 that I can use aswell.
