Canon A610 lens question.........

A quick google shows the A610 has a minimum focusing distance of about 2". Keep in mind that a diopter (close-up kit, whatever you want to call it) will only give you more magnification by allowing the camera to get closer to your subject and still focus. Considering your camera will focus down to 2", getting closer probably isn't going to happen. You can always get a cheap close-up kit from ebay (you don't need the specific Canon one) and give it a whirl though.
