Looking for reviews of how well this camera works for taking good coral shots.

it takes great pictures but you need a good lense. the kit one will work ok but a macro is where it is at for coral shots. 100mm cannon is a good lense.

I could have sworn that I read somewhere in the manual that the 350D aka the XT is good for taking pics of corals.

:lol:...he was saying it is good...he read the manual, because he has one, and said that in the manual it said it was good for taking pics of corals...a clever way to give the camera props...lol...

A good lens and a working knowledge of your equipment is essential for good pics I have a XT with the 100mm macro and love it also needed is a tripod and remote shutter release after that it is all about practice , practice , practice... and having fun!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have one on the way. I have a lot to learn so I will be asking questions about using it once I get it and practicing a lot.
