Canon S90

So I pulled the trigger and sprung for an S90. I like to hike and MTN bike and really there are times a DSLR is just too much to deal with. That, or I am afraid if I crash I either break it (or it'll break me) landing on top of it.

So I getthis thing tomorrow. I am curious to see what it can do. I opted for this one due to the rviews of the image quality and having RAW. I would have liked to have more zoom, but I had to give somewhere. I think I'll like the 28mm wide side though.

I'll post some stuff once I play with it some. Would like to see what other have done with it and hear their thoughts. I know someone posted a cool shot here when I was asking about it. Anyone else have one?

Here's my sad attempt at HDR...

Still playing, but I am impressed with what it can do. I think these were both in the MAcro mode. The lionfish is at ISO 800. Not bad at all for a P&S! Remains to be seen what it can do on the fly just being out and about. It is VERY portable though so much easier to have handy than the 5D or monsterous 1Ds!

That is exactly what I like about. Can stuff it in mt tool bag for MTN biking, or small pocket for a gnarly peak assualt without having to deal with the big SLR. Now there really should never be a time I am out without a camera!!

yeah, that and a little longer zoom and it would probably have me leaving the DSLR behind quite a bit!
