Canopy for 10g

I'm trying to construct a canopy for my 10X20in 10g nano. I just purchased a retrofit kit from hello lights (150W, 14k). I plan on including some fans in it as well.

Does anyone have any building plans for such a task?

Do you think this is the right way to go?

I have a 150MH on my 40gal, even with the fan on the light going all the time and an open back canopy my controler still switches on the evap cooling fans 2-3 times a day. I would opt to go with a 70MH or 2x40PC. Let us know how the temp swings are. You can check the DIY page for some plans for the canopy. good luck and remember DIY is suposed to be fun.

I have 175w mh on my 10g but open top and have no heat issues, I also had a 20g with 175 and an open back canopy with 1 fan and never any heat problems

I have a 150w over my 10g......no problems. But I keep my A/C set on 68 degrees

Wow thats a cold house!

I have 2 32 watt pc's on my 10 gal and even with my 2 fans running I have to keep the back of the hood open. I would say your in for some serious heat issues
