canopy heat?

I run two gen 2's over a 30x30 and supplement with three 24 watt vho's. during the peak daytime the canopy gets pretty warm. I am wondering what are some of the guidelines for ambient temperature surrounding radions in use.

I know cooler is clearly better but am wondering how warm is too warm?

Thanks,

Well for starters You don't need the VHOs The 2 radions provide plenty of light for that size tank. Thats where 90% of the heat is coming from.

I realize that is the source of the heat. Not really looking to debate the relevance or necessity of the vhos. Just looking for info on heat tolerances as it relates to the radions.

They can tolerate a warm area but not hot forever. I would just have some sort of vent out to keep the air circulating.

How hot is it in there?
