canopy on a rimless tank

can i put a canopy on a rimless 48g tank that measures 24x18 thanks a head of time good nite yall

I don't know if you can or can not but wouldn't you be taking away from it aesthetically. Usually people get a tank rimless for its look. I could be wrong though

well before we got it someone added reflective tape to it n it won't buff out completely so its already lost some of the esthetics
