cant find my exquisite fairy wrasse

I bought an exquisite fairy wrasse and was in a small tank inside my tank so the fishes will get used to the fairy wrasse. next day, it was eating fine and let the wrasse out and was fine. none of the other fishes were picking on it, and was eating the two times i fed the tank. next morning there was no sign of the fairy wrasse. today still there is no sign. could the fairy wrasse be dead or just hiding?

i have a lid on my tank so it could have not jumped.

Checks the floor honestly I have a mesh screen they can find a way even if it's pretty secure they are strong coming out of the water. How long has e been missing If it's been 4 days chances are he's probably dead. If he's hungry he'll come out and eat maybe buy some cope pods to Help him eat if he's still alive. My leopard wrasse doesn't come out sometimes for days e goes Sand diving and apparently can't find his way out. Just keep an eye out. Look int he rocks at night also he may just be stressed.

i also have a canopy which doesnt have any holes for the fish to come out. but just incase i did check the floor. hmmmmm. like if the wrasse was getting chased or stress i would just assume it died. but it was totally fine and eating well before the night hit.

My lightning wrasse burried himself for days when I introduced him.

Stress he'll come out give it another day or two. Some of my wrasses hid for days upon introduction.
