can't get green light on osmolator

My sump kept flooding, and then the osmolator pump stopped completly, looks like the shaft at the bottom of the pump rusted.

order a replacement pump, and cannot get a green light, only yellow until ATO empties into the sump.

Soaked sensor in vinegar overnight, plugged everything in and it worked!

once....

then the next time it turns on I get no green light, just yellow light and will not shut off.

followed the troubleshooting guide, the unit was made in feb 2011 according to the tag on the circuitboard inside.

I'm good with electronics, is there a way just to replace the sensor?

I cant find one as a spare part anywhere.

The sensor can be replaced, it is 4 fairly fine wires, like telephone wires. You need a needle tip soldering iron with a good temp control to do this repair. In general we would ask you to send in and if you damaged the board the remainder of warranty would be void if you do it yourself, but I am willing to send the sensor if this is what you prefer.

If it has no water damage, based on age you are still under warranty so the only cost would be shipping it in. Please include the power supply and pump.
