Can't keep sps after tank crash

Phosphates tested at 0 with the Hannah at my local shop.

During this time I tested alk at least every morning, sometimes 2-3x a day. My alk dropped about .2 max dkh over the course of a day and then built back up over night. This has always happened in my tank, I tried to dose only through the day, but my pH swings were too much. I'd drop to 8 at night and go over 8.5 before lights out. I tested other parameters every other day since the changes are harder to pick up.

I didn't lose any fish or other inverts during the crash. Just every sps bleached and died from the heat. I don't think I'm going through a full cycle again as my clams, fish, inverts, and few lps/softies and fine. But there could be undetectable levels.

Go slow with rebuilding your sps population. Start with an easy piece like M. digitata. If that survives for a month, try an easy acro like A. yongei. Pretty soon you'll be a couple months away from the crash and the easy frags will be growing.
