The 40 gallon Package was ordered earlier this week and have it setup to be shipped on Monday the 9th. Really looking forward to this, I think my wife is more excited though to see what kind of critters we get lol even though my 40 breeder build was done by myself. Looking forward to Monday and will post photos.

Thanks again Richard

Received part 1 of the package today and I must say we'll done Richard. Went to the cargo area and picked up 3 boxes that were bone dry and heavy. Could not wait to get home and open these up. Installed everything per your directions and got poked by a urchin while stirring the sand. I was amazed by the quality of the rock. Absolutely covered in life , sponges, coral and coraline. Some great looking pieces that I can't wait to aquascape with. Currently a big sand storm which is hard to aquascape around. EVERYTHING is crawling with critters, tons of porcelain crabs small-big. Also some shrimp appear to be in as well because I keep hearing a clicking sound. Really can't wait for the silt to settle and take some photos for all of you.

Thanks again Richard

Cool! I just installed part two of the package this past Sunday, and it's awesome! I have at least two small, yellow pistol shrimps, which I found before installing the rock and decided to keep, along with all the other fun critters you mentioned.

Good luck with the new tank!

Overnight the tank cleared up a lot. Still cloudy but can actually see the back of tank. I rearranged some rocks and am very pleased with the pieces sent with the order. I have found a pistol shrimp hiding and will only show his claws, found a tiny tiny urchin, many other cool creatures and porcelain crabs hanging out.

So I have witnessed that pistol shrimp and I believe there are 2. Saw a decent size molt this morning before work. Also noticed one of those evil Isopods so trap is set and tomorrow will tell. My ammonia hit 1ppm today and did a water change. Seeing more snails and life as time goes on.

Tonight's water test shows ammonia is between .25-.50 ppm and is appearing be decreasing since this am. Still no detectable nitrite or nitrate.

Haven't seen anymore Isopoda and have my part 2 coming this Friday, can't wait

also be aware that there are several kinds of isopods and most of them are harmless, some look like the "evil" kind but are not. 6 weeks of no fish in a system should starve out any of the bad ones from what I can tell.

the only ones that I know of that can live longer than 6 weeks w/o food are the giant benthic ones that are freaking huge and you would know for sure if you had one of them - it would be as big as the rocks you get!

So part 2 came in today...... All I have to say if WOW! First box opened was all the clean up crew and extras. 3 flower anemones, tons of plants and really makes it colorful. The 2nd and 3rd box were just rock and lots of it, big and small pieces to pick from. I ended up putting the pieces I didn't use in my sump at the moment. Overall very happy with my decision to go with tbs and now to wait for the rest of the cycle to kick through. I will post some photos when all done getting everything in.
