captive bred latz temp question

Does anyone know if captive bred latz need to be kept at lower temps like the wild caughts or if they'll do okay at 78 degrees. Just got a small pair and wanted to see if anybody else has kept captive breds at higher temps.

they are ok at 78 degrees. The captives are kept around that temp when they are raised.

I just lost my pair to Ich a week ago but they thrived at 78-80.

sorry to hear that. just got a pair from sustainable aquatics last week that went into my 125g that I keep at 78 degrees. The larger of the pair is about 2" and the smaller is about 1.5". They're not full bars but I've but hunting for a pair of latz for years.

Yes those higher temps are fine for captive raised Latz. I have had my pair for almost 2 years at those temps and never have had any problems with them, they are actually showing signs potential breeding by cleaning a piece of live rock at the base of their anemone.
