Carbon block.

Just a random thought/idea/question. I was looking at my brs reactor and thinking I needed to carbon for it, I then realized I also needed to change the filters on my ro unit. And I thought to myself, what about running a carbon block in a dual reactor vs using granular activated carbon? I'm sure there is a reason people don't do it, just curious as to why.

pressure - I think (and I may be wrong).

a hobby pump like the mj1200 doesn't have enough head pressure to push water through a carbon block. I think it requires at least 35 PSI but works better at 65 PSI.

You could, but it would clog easily because of the sub 25 micron rating of RO systems. If you can find one with a +100micron rating then it coulwould be ok.
