Carbon with BTAs?

Does any1 else have a mix reef and use Carbon?
I never thought of using it however I have 3 btas and the bigger one is hiding on the underside of a rock (going on 2 weeks) but does eat well and its arms are out but thiner. I'm just wondering if there is an issue here that I might need to run carbon.

Water condition is 100% top notch. I also make my own water and the tds reading from Ro is 1 but good enough.

Any thoughts would be most helpful..

Also no other coral or pest that I can see is near the BTAs side of the aquarium.

i use carbon and chemi-pure with 2rbta and 2 gbta no probs.

I'm also looking at getting a carpet. Do you leave the carbon in a micron bag in the sump than?

I think it is a good idea to run carbon or chemipure or polyfilter regardless.

I have my carbon in a AquaC XP reactor. It was only 45 bucks and works great.
