Generally speaking, reef tanks should be kept at approx. 1.025 to 1.027. Especially if you have starfish in the tank (I would assume that the same applies if you have sea urchins). So if this is a reef tank, I would set that salinity up to around 1.026 gradually. Personally I would do water changes with water that has a specific gravity of 1.030 until the tanks salinity reached 1.026.
But, like I said, make sure to do this GRADUALLY because you shocked everything with that swing of 0.004 and you don't want to make things worse by sending the specific gravity in the other direction too quickly.
