Cardinalfish jumpers?

Anyone know the likelihood of cardinalfish to jump out of a tank? I guess any fish can jump, but I'm hoping they are less likely

They can. With Banggai cardinals, the chances are more likely if you have more than a pair.
Any fish is a potential jumper, some, like a lot of wrasses, are almost guaranteed to try it once. Others, like frogfish, are much, much less likely (it can still happen). Cardinals are at the lower end of the scale, IME.

i have a pair of bangaii's and a pair of lemon drop's and had a pair of pajama's and none of them ever jumped or acted like they were gonna !

Yes, I agree. Frogfish are at the bottom of the scale, cardinals slightly above them in probability of jumping. On the other hand, filefish, wrasses, clownfish (with more than two), firefish are highly probably jumpers.

Thanks for the input. I purchased the trio of japanese izu cardinalfish that have been on DD for a while
