Just got this lil guy yesterday... as of last night and this morning before I left he was still hiding under some rock...

I assume he's just gotta get use to the tank and new home...

Any thing I need to know?

They are listed as real hardy and good eaters. I plan on getting some cyclopeez tonight and some frozen mystis..

Have had mine for about 6 months. Have him in my 150 gallon reef. Cruises through the rock work, generally not in the open for very long, will go to the side of the tank with the ambient light at dusk and swim out in the open during this time.

Feed mine mysis, and spirulina enriched brine shrimp. Good eater, no conflicts with any other tankmates as the agressor or being bullied.

very easy to feed, very peaceful and very secretive.

initially will hide alot but will get used to your tank sooner or later.

i have a multilineatum basslet (Liopropoma multilineatum) and a swales basslet.

both initially very shy and secretive but now cruise around the rocks, weaving in and out even when the MH are on.

becareful of smaller fish. my multilineatum ate some of my parvulus cardinals and mini dart fishes.

Well fish are never "happy" as that is a human emotion. If no other inhabitant attacks/harasses them, they should be fine. A female flame wrasse may be aggressive towards this fish, but by nature, their secretive behavior should allow them to do fine.
