Careful When Dealing with AdamJ

I just wanted to let everyone know, be careful if you sell to or buy anything from adamj here on the forums.

I sold a couple of items to him and it went fine with no problems. Later on he ended up buying my 90 gallon tank and said he can only pay part now and would pay part later on. Since I had done some deals with him before I trusted him at his word that he would pay.

Later on he came back with another part of the money for the 90g and wanting to buy more of the stuff stating he would pay me on Friday. Right now he owes me around $410 and can't get ahold of him.

I send PM's and he reads them and browses forums everyday but he will not respond to my messages which makes me think I am SoL for trusting him.

I just wanted to give anyone else here a heads up if they decide to do business with him.

Well, not sure if anyone cares, but its been a month and still nothing from him..

Well not exactly nothing. He threatened to sue me for slander... But still hasn't paid.

Why can't you sue him? Take him to Small Claims Court.

Too much work for small claims court. Like shaggs says, It's lesson learned and won't do it again. Just wanted to give people here the heads up if they deal with him.

Yeah that guy named Adam is full of **** there s one time he texted me for my mp10 and promise to buy it then ask me to hold it for him for a while and never heard from him again

Since you did not specifically mention what method Adamj accused you of using to slander him in your original post, how would I or anyone else reading your post know whether you slandered or libeled him. I too studied law and often applied what I had learned in my over 20 years experience in the Criminal Justice field. And yea, I'm glad you know how the element of truth is applied when slander is being considered. And, IMO, I think you should apply what you learned "for a couple of terms" and get back the amount of money Adamj stiffed you for.
